James - Killara

I am a Law and Finance student at Macquarie University.  I am from America and, of course, I speak English fluently.  I have a twelve year old sister whom I have often assisted in Maths and other subjects, since she started school to her present grade, Year 7. I have been certified by the government to work with children, as I coach years 7, 8 and 9 basketball teams at Barker College, from which I graduated in 2010.   

I am certified to work with children, as  I coach basketball at Barker college.  I graduated from there, and was the Captain of the Basketball team, playing on the Firsts in years 11 and 12.  I am Captain of the Firsts Youth League team with which I presently play.  I had a strong HSC result (over 94) and studied advanced Math in High School.  I am a full time student majoring in Law and finance (a double degree) at Macquarie University.  I have experience in tutoring my younger sister, who is in Year 7, since she began school, and she has responded extremely well to my help. I also have developed more experience tutoring since first advertising.

I would prefer that the student come to my home in Killara, where I live with my brother, sister and mom and dad.  We have a large home with a private office, where I feel would be an effective area to study.  I am interested in tutoring students, years K  through 10 in Maths.  However, I will be happy to travel to your home if you and your child would prefer that.
