Laura has been fantastic in working around my time table, she is reliable and dependable which is great if you are an anxious student. She responds promptly to emails, text and calls - which again is reassuring when you want immediate advice.
As a teacher Laura has been wonderful. She is supportive, encouraging and motivating. She takes time to listen to your concerns but brings you back into the present moment to work with things as they are now. No need to dwell on past failure or worry about the future. Like all good teachers Laura brings out what you already know and instills you with confidence. She suggests things that you might try outside class which will enhance improvement. I find her calm but firm approach has helped me a great deal in gaining confidence and mastery in the water after years of avoidance.
