Through over seventeen years of Teaching and Tutoring experience. I provide educational leadership by developing quality curriculum and awarding secondary school credentials, the School Certificate and the Higher School Certificate.

In the Area of Study, I teach students to explore and examine relationships between language and text, and interrelationships among texts. I teach students to examine closely the individual qualities of texts while considering the texts’ relationships to the wider context of the Area of Study. I teach students to synthesise ideas to clarify meaning and develop new meanings. Students are taught to take into account whether aspects such as context, purpose and register, text structures, stylistic features, grammatical features and vocabulary are appropriate to the particular text. The 2009 English HSC requires students to explore the ways in which the concept of belongings (as this is the first time this concept has been examined) is considered and expressed in and through texts. I teach students in their responses and compositions students examine, question and reflect on.

Over the last seventeen years on average. I have been teaching in Selective Colleges and Tutoring private students twenty hours a week. From a results perspective my students have achieved better than expected results through my teaching and tutoring. I have the experience and the maturity to give you the results that no one else can.

1991-1994 Attended Sydney University full time. Bachelor of Arts. Majoring in History and Politics

1991-1995 Attended Macquarie University part-time. Bachelor of Legal Studies.

From 1992-2009. I have been conducting Private Tutoring and Teaching in Selective Colleges to Higher School Certificate Students and School Certificate Students. The subjects that I have specialised in are:

HSC Advanced/Standard English, HSC Business Studies, HSC Legal Studies, HSC Ancient History, HSC Modern History and School Certificate English and Elective History.
