Gabrielle - Brisbane

Hi, my name is Gabrielle and I am an experienced freelance filmmaker. I am currently employed as a lecturer at both the Griffith Film School and The Actors Workshop.

My teaching methods involve both theoretical research and practical based training. I teach to students at all levels of experience, from those with basic to advanced knowledge who intend to deepen their understanding of filmmaking or film theory.

I am predominately based in South Brisbane, and usually use public transport to get to this location. I am willing to travel 15-30mins from the CBD.

My qualifications include a Bachelor in Film and Screen Media Production with Honours, majoring in Cinematography and also Screen Studies. I have received several academic awards for my studies at Griffith University, and I am currently applying for a Doctor of Visual Arts at the same institution.

Over the last 7 years I have gained extensive work and experience within the film industry. I am currently employed by Griffith University and The Actors Workshop, teaching in subjects including drama production, script development and film analysis.

I have also worked on several projects of various formats including feature films, award-winning short films, documentaries, music/corporate films, and have also co-produced local-based film festivals.
