I have been teaching swimming since 2006, both publicly and privately with children and adults. I have worked at State Swim Norwood for many years teaching children between 2.5-14 years of age, I also have previously taught private classes (some with Active Unlimited), for babies, children and adults.

I believe that for any age, swimming lessons should incorporate elements of water safety and develop swimming techniques in an enjoyable way so the student feels comfortable, safe and builds a positve association with water generally and swimming. Working with Active Unlimited gives me the flexibility to tailor the structure of the lesson to meet each student/parent's needs and interests to make sure students get the most out of each lesson. The best part of my job is getting to know the students and their interests, seeing their consistent progress in the pool and seeing them excited and happy to be in water
