The left-brain right brain theory states that the two hemispheres of the brain are responsible for different types of processing. The left brain is viewed as a more logic oriented processor whereas the right brain is more “intuitive”. Everyone has a tendency towards either a left-brain or a right-brain dominance.

The characteristics of left-brain and right-brain thinking are shown below. There is also a simple test which will reveal to you which side of your brain is more dominant.

If you see the dancer turning clockwise you use more of the right side of your brain, anticlockwise means you use more of the left side. Some people can change the direction at will, can you?
